Warden quits after giving ticket to crashed taxi driver

A traffic warden has resigned after a video of her putting a ticket on a Manchester taxi involved in an accident went viral.

NSL, the company that enforces parking on behalf of Manchester City Council, said her behaviour had been "wholly unacceptable".

Taxi driver Mohammed Arif had parked his damaged cab on double yellow lines while he waited for roadside recovery.

He filmed the warden giving him a ticket and refusing to listen to his explanation as BBC North West Tonight's Dave Guest reports.
