Duchess of Cornwall recalls Beatles memory on Liverpool visit

The Duchess of Cornwall has recalled being caught up in Beatlemania, on a visit to a number of Beatles attractions in Liverpool.

She was greeted by crowds waving flags at the Albert Dock and by staff dressed as Sgt Pepper characters outside The Beatles Story.

The duchess also reminisced about being one of the "screaming fans" as she watched a tribute band and visited the Cavern Club.

The visit coincides with celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of the formation of The Beatles.
