Tributes to Afghanistan bomb blast soldier Daniel Wade

Hundreds of people lined the streets of Warrington for the funeral of Pte Daniel Wade, 20, who died along with five colleagues when their Warrior armoured personnel carrier was destroyed by a bomb in Afghanistan.

He was serving with 3rd Battalion The Yorkshire Regiment when his vehicle was hit on 6 March.

Pte Wade's coffin, draped in the union jack, was carried into St Elphin's Church by colleagues from his unit as a Guard of Honour was formed by members of the local Royal British Legion.
