Cley marshes shingle bank repairing itself

During the tidal surge in December the shingle bank at Cley next the Sea in Norfolk was breached.

The sea poured through the gap, flooding the marshes and villages along the coast, like Salthouse and Cley.

Now the shingle bank has started to repair itself, which is exactly what the Norfolk Wildlife Trust - the owners of the marshes - wanted.

Mike Liggins reports.
