East Midlands Fire Brigades Union members walk out over pensions

Across the East Midlands, members of the Fire Brigades Union (FBU) took industrial action in a dispute over pension changes.

Chris Tapp from the union's Derbyshire branch said: "No firefighter wants to go on strike. I think I speak for every firefighter across the country when I say this is where we don't want to be."

Graham Vaux, from Leicestershire FBU, said the support they have received across the county had been "much more than expected".

Simon Hare from East Midlands Today reports.
