Nottingham waterways 'failing' local economy

Campaigners have said Nottingham is failing to make the most of its waterways.

Campaign for Rural England has called for the city to become more like Birmingham and to do more to develop its canals to benefit tourism, leisure and business for the area.

Nottingham City Council said progress was being made slowly.
