Diamond Jubilee celebrated in Shrewsbury flotilla
About 30 small boats took part in a flotilla on the River Severn in Shrewsbury as part of the town's Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
Despite wet weather about 300 people watched as the vessels made their way from Frankwell footbridge to Kingsland bridge.
Many of the owners decorated their boats and dressed up to mark the occasion.
The flotilla was set up by organisers of the Shrewsbury River Festival who said, despite a poor turnout, they were planning a similar event next year.
The festival was organised to raise awareness of river safety around the Severn in Shrewsbury and encourage more people to make use of the river.
