Tour de France crash fails to deter Henry Wood from cycling

A teenager has said a dramatic 15ft (4.5m) fall from a bridge while following the Tour de France last summer has not put him off cycling.

Henry Wood, from Kenilworth, Warwickshire, was following the cyclists in Yorkshire when his bike hit a stone bridge and he was catapulted into a stream.

He was airlifted to hospital.

His mother, Jane, told BBC Midlands Today reporter Kevin Reide she was following close behind and saw just how far her 14-year-old son had fallen.
