Aldeburgh cafe badly damaged by fire

A fire which began in the kitchen has destroyed part of a cafe and delicatessen in the seaside town of Aldeburgh in Suffolk.

The fire spread through the back of the building, destroying part of the roof. Three members of staff and six customers were in the building when the fire broke out.

The owners of Aldeburgh Market hope to re-open part of their business by next week.
