Campaigning widow backs A14 lay-by changes

A widow whose husband was killed in an accident on the A14 in Suffolk has welcomed the Highways Agency's decision to improve safety at the lay-by where he died.

Edward Mann, 49, a father of three, died instantly when his car went into the back of a lorry which was parked in the lay-by near the Stowupland junction.

In future, drivers will only be allowed to use the area in an emergency.
