Hurricane Irma storm dog taken to UK by aid mission PC

A British policeman has been reunited with the dog he made friends with on an aid mission to the Caribbean in the wake of Hurricane Irma.

PC Jon Harvey, from Suffolk police, was befriended by stray Labrador cross Buddy while on patrol on the island of Tortola in September.

"I just thought I'd like to bring him home if I can and give him a chance of a better life," he said.
