Nymans sculpture recreates Sussex mansion fire

A wooden sculpture that will be set on fire is helping to bring the history of a National Trust estate in West Sussex back to life.

Nymans, near Haywards Heath, was once a grand family home but was destroyed by a blaze in 1947.

The sculpture intertwines the ruins and will be dramatically destroyed in a few weeks' time.

BBC South East Today's Sara Smith spoke to the French sculptor Denis Tricot, and to Nikki Caxton of the National Trust.
