Horsham drink driver unable to stand up
A drink-driver nearly five times over the limit was so intoxicated he could not stand up after being arrested.
Sussex Police have released CCTV footage of Robert Hutchinson, 59, who had to be helped to his feet and held upright by an officer at a West Sussex custody centre.
Hutchinson, of Fir Tree Close, Plummers Plain, Horsham, crashed his Nissan Almera head-on into a Ford Ka driven by a 42-year-old woman on the A281.
He pleaded guilty to drink-driving, driving without a licence and driving without insurance when he appeared at Crawley Magistrates' Court. He was given a suspended 18-week jail term, and banned from driving for five years.
Hutchinson, who was previously banned for drink-drinking in 2009, was also ordered to do 300 hours community service.
