Redundant cable worker, 61, tells of job-hunting fears

A 61-year-old Tyneside man has spoken of his fears and the challenge of finding a new job.

Eddie Cassidy was made redundant from AEI Cables, in Birtley, in May of last year.

He had worked there for 37 years.

Mr Cassidy is taking part in a debate looking at how the economic crisis has affected the North East.
