Hundreds of fish in North Yorkshire moved upstream

Hundreds of fish in North Yorkshire have been moved upstream due to exceptionally low river levels.

Fish in the River Rye, near Helmsley, were moved by the Environment Agency to a deeper area upstream.

The team from the agency moved the fish using an electric current.
