Child abuse victims meet NI leaders at Stormont

Victims of child abuse in Catholic institutions in Northern Ireland say they're "encouraged and optimistic" after a meeting with the First Minister and Deputy First Minister.

Peter Robinson and Martin McGuinness met a delegation representing victims at Stormont.

Campaigners have called for a public inquiry in Northern Ireland following two reports in the Irish Republic, which said that abuse in Catholic and state-run institutions was endemic.

Andy Martin reports.
