Belfast violence: background to latest disorder

A senior police officer has challenged politicians to sort out the parades issue in Belfast after a second night of violence.

More than 60 police officers were injured and seven hospitalised during Monday's clashes.

Petrol bombs, bricks, fireworks and stones were thrown at police, while a hijacked van was pushed into police lines.
