Armagh Rhymers bring Glastonbury show from 500 BC

While you may have thought ageing rockers the Rolling Stones were the oldest act to play Glastonbury at the weekend, a group of musicians from Armagh might have more claim to that title.

The Armagh Rhymers, a masked song and storytelling group, are carrying on a tradition believed to be 2,500 years old.

They perform in wicker-work masks and in some regions are known as mummers.

Gordon Adair reports on the group's fourth Glastonbury appearance for BBC Newsline.
