Sam McAughtry: Belfast writer and broadcaster dies

The writer and broadcaster Sam McAughtry has died after a long illness.

McAughtry, from the loyalist Tiger's Bay area in north Belfast was known for his wry wit and his skills as a raconteur.

In a clip from BBC Radio Ulster, he talks about his first live radio interview and how Gloria Hunniford encouraged him to take up broadcasting.
