Peter Robinson: DUP leader gives his final leadership speech at party conference

It is time for "the next generation" of the Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) to step forward, Peter Robinson has said as he prepares to stand down as the party's leader.

He told delegates at the DUP's annual conference he was bowing out "in the knowledge that this party is in good shape to take Northern Ireland forward".

Mr Robinson is to quit as Northern Ireland first minister and DUP leader within weeks.
