David Cameron arrives in Washington DC

David Cameron has arrived in Washington DC for his first visit to the US as UK prime minister.

Mr Cameron arrived overnight and went straight to the British embassy.

He will meet President Barack Obama for talks on the war in Afghanistan, the Gulf of Mexico oil spill and the release of the release of the Lockerbie bomber last August.
