Cameron to 'avoid' cuts that can be 'restored'

David Cameron has said his government is seeking to "avoid" making cuts that can be "restored" in the future.

The cuts to public services must be "sustainable," he said.

The prime minister was answering a question from a fire fighter at a Direct PM event in Birmingham, where he faced members of the public.
