Coalition government - the first 100 days

The coalition government is marking its first hundred days in office, by claiming it has got to grips with the budget deficit and created the conditions for economic growth.

But there are more reports about where big benefit cuts may be made, and the Liberal Democrat's deputy leader, Simon Hughes, is calling for his party's backbenchers to be given the power to veto policies put forward by coalition ministers.
