Cooper pays tribute to UK aid worker

Shadow foreign secretary Yvette Cooper has paid tribute to the "work and courage" of British aid worker Linda Norgrove, who she said did "vital work towards a stable and secure future for Afghanistan".

She went on to condemn the actions of the hostage-takers, and spoke of the "distressing" information conveyed by the Prime Minister that the aid worker may have been killed by a US grenade during an attempted rescue mission.
