Nick Clegg to invest in 'future fairness' for children

Nick Clegg has announced plans to spend £7bn over four years improving the education of England's poorest children through nursery, school and university.

The deputy prime minister said that despite the deficit reduction plans the Spending Review would include an "investment package for future fairness".
