Cameron facing up to tough decisions says Lord Mandelson

One of the chief architects of Labour policy, Lord Mandelson, said the government was "facing up" to some very tough decisions that Labour would have had to confront if it was re-elected.

In a BBC interview he warned the government not to become obsessed with reducing the deficit to the exclusion of longer term prosperity.
