Lembit Opik criticises Telegraph Lib Dem sting

Two senior Liberal Democrats have told undercover reporters from the Daily Telegraph that they voted in favour of tuition fees even though they opposed the policy.

The journalists taped Transport Minister Norman Baker and Deputy Leader of the House, David Heath.

Former Lib Dem MP Lembit Opik told the BBC such reporting tactics threaten the trust between MPs and their constituents.
