Minimum alcohol pricing unveiled in England and Wales
The government has announced plans to introduce minimum pricing for alcohol in England and Wales.
Under the proposals, a can of lager would cost a minimum of 38p and a litre bottle of vodka would be at least £10.71.
Health campaigners say it is too low to have an impact, but the drinks industry described the proposals as a pragmatic solution.
