'I relate to Alan Johnson family pressure' says Smith

Former Home Secretary Jacqui Smith has admitted that she knows what it is like to be under the "family pressure" that Labour shadow chancellor Alan Johnson has attributed his resignation to.

Smith was caught up in the MPs' expenses scandal when over two adult movies her husband had hired as well.

Michael Portillo claimed Ed Balls was now "unsackable" as Labour could not afford to lose a second shadow chancellor.
