Fuel price restriction bid in Parliament by SNP's Stewart Hosie
SNP's Treasury Spokesman Stewart Hosie explains a bid in Parliament to restrict fuel prices rises.
He said people are paying £6.80 a gallon in Orkney for petrol, and even £6 in the big cities, which is having a "catastrophic effect" on motorists.
He said rises over the last few months have led to taxi drivers paying an extra £1,000 a year for filling up twice a day, and the increases could lead to the "brakes going on the economic recovery".
