Ex-Labour MP Jim Devine has been convicted

The former Labour MP, Jim Devine, has been found guilty of two charges of making false expense claims.

The jury found that Mr. Devine, who used to represent Livingston, had defrauded the taxpayer of nearly £8,000.

He was cleared on a third charge and will be sentenced next month.
