Cuts will 'undermine' Big Society says charity chief

Government spending cuts will undermine voluntary organisations from participating in the Big Society, according to Saltbox Christian Centre chief executive Lloyd Cooke.

Mr Cooke said the community project in Stoke embraces the idea behind the policy but local authority budget restraints will mean that three of its staff will be made redundant.
