Cameron: Making Big Society work is a 'burning mission'

The Prime minister has defended his flagship Big Society policy and hit back at critics who claim it's being undermined by the government's own spending cuts.

In a BBC interview, David Cameron rejected accusations that his vision to give more power to people and communities was "naive".

Mr. Cameron said it was his "burning mission" to make it work, although he conceded the cuts would be "difficult and painful".

Nick Robinson reports.
