Typhoon jet costs have risen by 75%, says National Audit Office

The National Audit Office has accused defence officials of under-estimating the cost of the Typhoon fighter aircraft, which it says have risen by 75%.

Around £55m will be added to the cost of each jet, according to the spending watchdog.
