Lib Dems slip to sixth in Barnsley

The Liberal Democrats have slipped to sixth place in Barnsley Central, after a by-election.

The party, which was in second place in the constituency at last year's general election, polled so few votes they lost their deposit.

The by-election was triggered by the resignation of Eric Illsley who was jailed for fraudulent expense claims.

The BBC's Gary O'Donoghue reports.
