Leicester South voters chose mayor, council, MP and AV vote

Voters in Leicester South will get the chance to vote for their first-ever elected mayor on the same day as a Parliamentary by-election, the AV referendum and city council elections.

Adam Fleming reports from the East Midlands where elections seems to be as popular as the proverbial bus, coming along four at once, which means counting will continue well into the following day.

He spoke to three candidates: Jane Hunt for the Conservatives, Jon Ashworth for Labour and Zuffar Haq for the Liberal Democrats. Also standing is UKIP's Abhijit Pandya
