Nick Clegg: Warren Bradley 'wrong' in asking to end coalition

Nick Clegg has reacted to a letter from the Lib Dem former leader of Liverpool City Council in which he urges his party leader to pull out of the coalition government.

In the confidential letter seen by the BBC, Warren Bradley urged Mr Clegg to act before "we disappear into the annals of history".

He said Lib Dem councillors were set to lose seats in 5 May's local elections and the coalition was to blame.

But Mr Clegg said that Mr Bradley was "wrong".
