Politicians unite ahead of referendum on voting reform

With less than three weeks to go before a referendum on voting reform, David Cameron has joined forces with one of his fiercest critics - the former Labour Home Secretary, John Reid.

They are against any changes while the Labour Leader, Ed Miliband, and the Liberal Democrat Business Secretary Vince Cable, are arguing in favour of the Alternative Vote.

The BBC's Political correspondent Ross Hawkins reports.
