Jowell: Labour's local election campaign 'going well'

Tessa Jowell has said Labour's local election campaign is "going very well indeed".

The shadow cabinet minister told Andrew Marr it was an important opportunity for Ed Miliband to introduce himself to the voters.

When asked about the impact the Labour leader was making, she said the process of climbing back from the "terrible defeat" they suffered at the last election was a slow one, and that Ed Miliband was playing their recovery absolutely right.
