NHS reforms: Gerry Robinson's view of Andrew Lansley plans

Businessman and management troubleshooter Gerry Robinson, who investigated management of the NHS for a TV series, said a lot in the government's planned changes for the NHS makes sense.

But he said they were confusing and NHS staff did not understand the plans, as he advised the government to "get its act together". Guardian journalist Polly Toynbee also offered her view on the latest health reorganisation.
