Tory MP Patrick Mercer explains Irish terrorism threat

Conservative MP Patrick Mercer, who served in Northern Ireland when he was in the British Army, and has chaired a Parliamentary committee on terrorism, said the Irish dissident element was tiny, and he called them "men of yesterday, not of today".

He said they may have some support either side of the Irish border, but nothing like that for the former IRA.
