Fox: Withdrawal of British troops depends on security

The Defence Secretary, Liam Fox, has just ended a 24-hour visit to UK troops serving in Afghanistan.

Speaking there to the BBC's Deputy Political Editor, James Landale, Mr Fox hinted there'd be no early withdrawal of British troops, saying the rate of troop reduction depends on the security on the ground and that "the point of the mission is to succeed, not leave as early as possible".
