News of the World closure is wrong, says Max Clifford
Max Clifford claimed it was a wrong decision to close the News of the World, but Alan Johnson said the move was more about saving the firm's bid to take over BSkyB, and admitted a public inquiry "could be uncomfortable for me".
Michael Portillo claimed it was a brave move for Rupert Murdoch whom he described as "an extraordinary figure in media innovation."
