Phone hacking: Jowell on Labour's relationship with newspapers

Former Culture Secretary Tessa Jowell admitted "there was not any good reason" why the Labour government did not take action against the illegal activities of newspapers.

She denied relaxing the rules to aid a BSkyB deal, and said the bill was aimed at helping local newspapers.
