Cancer care: Prof Karol Sikora on NHS changes

A cancer specialist said Britain was still the sick man of Europe when it came to cancer care, but treatments were getting better.

Professor Karol Sikora said fellow consultants did not understand plans to reform the NHS, which were "hot potch of interventions", and access to drugs was a "recipe for postcode nonsense".

He spoke after a Daily Politics film looking at cancer care in the UK.
