David Cameron to face MPs over EU veto

The Prime Minister will face MPs in the House of Commons this afternoon to explain why he used his veto at the EU summit in Brussels on Friday.

Downing street has sought to downplay tensions within the coalition.

At the weekend, the Deputy Prime Minister, Nick Clegg, said the failure to reach agreement was bad news for Britain.

The BBC's political correspondent Robin Brant reports.
