Peter Stringfellow's call to cut taxes to boost income

Nightclub owner Peter Stringfellow claimed the 50p tax rate must go if the government wants to motivate people to strive for a better life.

He recalled previous 90p tax rates from the 1970s, and said lower tax rates would actually bring more money in for the country.

He then debated his film with Diane Abbott, Michael Portillo and Andrew Neil in the This Week studio.
