Prescott and Fowler on government housing projects

Former Deputy PM John Prescott admitted Labour did not build enough homes while it was in office.

Now Lord Prescott, he said "we never built enough" as he recalled the £60,000 home scheme and modernising the housing stock when he was in charge.

And Conservative Lord Fowler said his government "failed" in not replacing the homes that it sold off.

They debated with Liberal Democrat Don Foster and Peabody Trust chief executive Stephen Howlett after they watched a Daily Politics film on the Peabody Trust.
