Yvette Cooper: Labour will 'learn Bradford lesson'

Shadow home secretary Yvette Cooper said Labour needed to learn lessons from the "deeply disappointing" Bradford West by-election where George Galloway took the seat with a 10,000 majority.

She said Labour was "not connecting" with some of the young people and issues raised, but it had knocked 20,000 doors through the by-election campaign.

At the 2010 General Election, Labour's Marsha Singh, who resigned on health grounds, won with a majority of 5,763.
