Independence 'could be key issue' in Scotland elections

Next Thursday local elections are taking place across most of Britain.

In Scotland, every seat in all 32 local authorities is up for grabs, and the issues are familiar; jobs and services.

But the Scottish elections also have an added bite, because of plans for a future referendum on whether Scotland should be independent.
